Board of Health Fees Now Payable Online in Sherborn

The Sherborn Board of Health has launched online bill payment for its fees, part of the town's ongoing push to modernize resident services, while the library's summer concert series carried on as planned Wednesday night despite a prior scheduling shuffle.

TOWN HALL

The Board of Health announced that all of its fees can now be paid online through the town's bill payment portal, according to a News Flash posted Wednesday. The change gives residents a new self-service option for health-related permits and charges without a trip to Town Hall.

Elsewhere in town governance, the Select Board recently approved the town's Housing Production Plan at its June 16 meeting, and results from Sherborn's 2026 Open Space and Recreation Plan Community Survey have been posted for residents to review, per the town website. The Veterans Services Committee formation announced last week continues to move forward, though specifics on membership and scope remain unsettled.

Several boards had meetings scrapped this week: the Historic District Commission's Monday session and Thursday's Select Board meeting (which had been set to convene alongside the Zoning Board of Appeals) were both canceled, per the town calendar.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Sherborn Library's summer concert series stayed on track Tuesday evening, with a message on the library's site confirming the show with The TBD Band was "STILL ON" despite earlier uncertainty. The library separately confirmed that its previously postponed July 15 concert will now happen Wednesday, July 29, at 6:30 p.m., featuring the band So Lucky — an update on a rescheduling saga already reported this week.

The library's summer reading program, "Plant a Seed, Read," continues through August 31, and a 2 p.m. event was on the library's calendar for Wednesday, July 23, according to the library's events listing.
