The Metropolitan Area Planning Council and Town of Bedford staff are inviting residents to a virtual public forum on the future use of 55 The Great Road, the site of the existing Fire Station, according to the town's website. Town officials also announced that nominations are now open for the 2026 Bedford Citizen of the Year, an annual recognition of a resident's contributions to the community. The town did not specify a nomination deadline in the announcement.
