Arts Wayland brings Sunset Sessions to Town Beach with Peter Lavenson & Friends
Thursday, July 23, 7:00 a.m. — Glezen Lane between Concord Road and Draper Road remains closed today as the Department of Public Works continues road work that began this morning. The closure is also in effect Friday, July 24, and Monday, July 27, starting at 7 a.m. each day; drivers should plan alternate routes through the weekend.
Thursday, July 23, 5–8 p.m. — Arts Wayland and the Wayland Recreation Department bring back Sunset Sessions tonight at Wayland Town Beach, with musician Peter Lavenson & Friends performing as the sun goes down over the water. Admission is free; attendees are encouraged to bring a beach chair.
Thursday, July 23–Saturday, July 26 — The Wayland Museum & Historical Society hosts the Slave Dwelling Project, a multi-day visit free and open to the public. The event is part of the museum's Tracing Liberty series, funded in part by the Massachusetts Office of Travel & Tourism.

Friday, July 24, opening night — The Vokes Players open Joe DiPietro's comedy Over the River and Through the Woods at Beatrice Herford's Vokes Theatre, 97 Boston Post Road. The production runs through August 8; tickets are available at vokesplayers.org.
Sunday, July 26, 9 a.m. — The Wayland Museum & Historical Society holds a "Walk, Wonder, and Discover!" nature walk at Alpine Field and Castle Hill Trail, 16 Alpine Road, as part of its Tracing Liberty series. The walk is free and open to all.
