Arlington Police Flag Impostor Scam Using Department Phone Numbers
Arlington residents should be on alert for an impostor phone scam targeting the community, as the holiday weekend approaches and local institutions prepare for Independence Day closures.

SCHOOLS
Arlington Public Schools district offices will be closed Thursday, July 3, in observance of Independence Day. Looking further ahead, a School Committee special meeting — described as a retreat — is scheduled for Saturday, July 11, from 1:30 to 4:30 p.m. at the Arlington Public Schools District Office. Teachers' first day back is set for Aug. 31, with a second orientation day on Sept. 1.

All Arlington Public Library locations will be closed Saturday, July 4, in observance of Independence Day. Patrons needing library services should plan accordingly around the holiday.
