Vote-By-Mail Postcards Head to Wayland Voters Ahead of Election

Friday, September 18 — Town Clerk Trudy Reid said the Secretary of the Commonwealth's Office will soon begin mailing vote-by-mail application postcards to registered Wayland voters ahead of the Nov. 3 state election. Wayland Patch also covered the mailing in "Vote-By-Mail Applications Heading To Wayland Voters," reporting that the postcards will land in voters' mailboxes ahead of the election, according to Wayland Patch (https://patch.com/massachusetts/wayland/vote-mail-applications-heading-wayland-voters).

Friday, September 25 — Arts Wayland and the MetroWest Writers' Guild will hold a 7 p.m. reception and reading at the Arts Wayland Gallery for "The Massachusetts Gothic," a collection of new fiction and poetry in which Massachusetts authors reimagine the state's myths and legends.

Saturday, October 3 — The 2026 Wayland Festival returns to the Wayland Town Center from 10 a.m. to 5 p.m., according to Arts Wayland, which is helping coordinate the event.

Thursday, October 15 — Arts Wayland's deadline for member submissions to its 2026 auction closes at 11:59 p.m.

Sunday, October 25 — The Wayland Museum & Historical Society will run a Mid-Century Modern House Tour featuring five of the town's cherished mid-century modern homes, with proceeds supporting museum programs. Ticket details are expected soon.

Saturday, October 31 — The museum's Halloween PAW-rade returns to Wayland's historic town center, with a short sidewalk loop for dogs and owners, prizes for Best Dog-and-Owner Match and Best "Home Team" Sports Look, and a treat for kids in costume.
