Arlington Adds Fourth Electric School Bus Amid Yard Waste Delays
ARLINGTON — Arlington has added a fourth electric school bus to its municipal fleet as part of the town's Net-Zero Action Plan, even as residents this week face delayed yard waste pickup after contractor WM failed to dispatch collection on schedule.
TOWN HALL
The town has secured funding for a fourth electric school bus for the public school district, continuing Arlington's push under its Net-Zero Action Plan to transition municipal vehicles to all-electric power, a story the town's News Flash also covered today.
Yard waste collection is running behind schedule this week after WM, the town's waste and recycling contractor, did not dispatch pickup as planned. The town said it is working to make up for the missed collection day.
