Zoning Board of Appeals · Meeting of October 8, 2026

Tyngsborough's Zoning Board of Appeals continued both of its scheduled public hearings on Oct. 8, deferring decisions on a home addition and a senior living community. The board pushed Fabienne B. Myrthil's variance request for a 26-by-20-foot addition at 136 Lakeview Ave., needed for relief from the right side yard setback under Section 5.5 of the zoning bylaws, to its December 10 meeting.

It also continued WL Development's variance request for 84 Kendall Rd., covering frontage and maximum building height for a proposed senior living community with independent living, assisted living, memory care and 40 age-restricted cottages, to November 12. Both continuances passed on unanimous voice votes. The board separately approved its September 10 meeting minutes, after members briefly debated "I don't think we have minutes to approve yet," before locating the correct document and voting to adjourn.
