Wilmington Recreation Department opens playground and Tiny Tots/Kids Club registration, releases summer newsletter.

WILMINGTON -- The Wilmington Recreation Department this week announced that registration is open for its Playground program and its Tiny Tots/Kids Club offerings, according to the department's website. The department also released its Summer 2026 edition of the "Recreation Matters" newsletter.

TOWN -- The Recreation Department, headquartered at Town Hall, 146 Middlesex Ave., Room 208, posted two active announcements on its site: "Playground & Tiny Tots/Kids Club Registration Now Open!" and "Summer 2026 'Recreation Matters' Newsletter Now Available!!" Residents can register online, and the department noted it will continue to post program updates and weather cancellations on its website. The department is led by Recreation Director Brett Sawin and Program Coordinator Brianna Harrison, with Marilyn Manos serving as senior clerk. The Recreation Commission's next meeting information was not listed beyond its standard schedule of the first Thursday of the month, excluding July and August.
