Westford Invites Residents Into Town Manager Search

Westford is asking residents to get involved in the process of selecting a new town manager, according to a town announcement, while a $125,000 state grant and a culvert failure that closed a Forge Village roadway also topped the town's list of updates this week.

TOWN HALL

The town posted an open call for residents to take part in the town manager selection process, though the announcement did not detail the search timeline or whether the current manager is departing. Separately, Westford was awarded a $125,000 Green Communities Competitive Grant, according to the town's website, adding to the community's designation under the state's Green Communities program.

Forge Village Road is closed due to a culvert failure, the town said, and crews are also preparing for upcoming waterline construction on Groton Road (Route 40). The Stony Brook Track and Athletic Court Improvement Project has been completed, the town announced.

On personnel, the town promoted Steven Clark to chief assessor and welcomed two new hires: Michael Woo as project/procurement specialist and Eric Du as operations analyst. The August 2026 Town Manager's Newsletter is now available on the town website.
