Westford Conservation Commission Seeks New Volunteer Member

WESTFORD — The town has posted a new opening on the Conservation Commission, adding another seat to the list of town boards recruiting residents this month, according to a notice on the town's News & Announcements page.

Westford's News & Announcements feed listed a new Conservation Commission opening this week, the town's latest call for a resident to serve on one of its appointed boards. The town did not specify the term length or application deadline in the posting.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

J.V. Fletcher Library hosted a virtual talk Tuesday evening, "The History Of Faneuil Hall & Quincy Market," running 7 to 8 p.m. over Zoom and covering the origins of the two Boston landmarks, which opened in 1742 and 1826 respectively. The library's Monday Mystery Book Club meets next at the Roudenbush Community Center on August 24.
