Town Schedules Road Work Across Concord for Week of July 13
The Town of Concord has scheduled a fresh round of paving and curb work across more than a dozen streets for the week of July 13, including new work at the MBTA parking lot, adding to ongoing disruptions from the Sudbury Road resurfacing project already underway.

The town's News Flash service announced road work scheduled for July 14 at the MBTA parking lot, describing upcoming paving and curb-related work at the site. A separate notice outlined a broader work schedule for the week beginning Monday, July 13, covering Stow Street, Everett Street, College Road, Annursnac Hill, Philip Farm, Liberty Street, Devens Street, Thoreau Court, Sudbury Road, Maple Street, Lexington Road, Bedford Road, Old Bedford Road, and the MBTA lot itself.
The announcements follow last week's start of the Sudbury Road resurfacing and detour project, which began July 6 and covers the stretch from Main Street to Fairhaven Road. The Concord Free Public Library has flagged that the ongoing work on Sudbury Road and Stow Street may cause intermittent parking disruptions at the Main Library through July 10.

The Concord Free Public Library's Munroe Gallery at the Main Library opens "Summer Memories," a solo exhibition by Massachusetts artist Lucinda Hamilton, running July 6 through July 30. An opening reception is set for Saturday, July 11, from 2 to 4 p.m.
The library is also hosting "A Celebration of the Declaration: An Exhibition of Rare 1776 Documents," on view through July 26, and is accepting applications for its 2027 Writer-in-Residence Program, with a deadline of July 15 for the January–June 2027 residency period.
