Tewksbury Planning Board continues 600 Woburn Street warehouse hearing after engineer cuts building by 25 percent. Engineer Gene Sullivan told the board Monday that his client, Pepti Corporation, has reduced the proposed warehouse from 21,000 square feet to 16,000 square feet, moved the building 10 additional feet from abutters, and replaced conventional pavement with porous pavement to reduce stormwater runoff. The board continued the hearing to August 17, 2026, with fire department approval and a final peer-review response from town-retained engineer GCG still outstanding.

Abutters from Park Ave. pushed back sharply in public comment, with one resident citing a Boston Children's Hospital letter on air quality risks to his disabled son and arguing "if you'll do this to my son, you'll do it to anybody." The board also voted unanimously to approve a 999-square-foot family suite special permit at 90 Jenny's Way, and members raised objections to draft policy language they said could require elected board chairs to obtain Town Manager approval before consulting Town Counsel.
