Sudbury Youth Soccer is inviting families to its first-ever Youth Soccer Night at Boston Legacy FC, while registration windows are closing for several youth soccer programs.

YOUTH LEAGUES -- Sudbury Youth Soccer (SYSA) announced its first-ever "Youth Soccer Night" at Boston Legacy FC on Monday, Aug. 31. According to the club's website, tickets are available for purchase online, and if the group sells 100 tickets, 16 BAYS and Academy players will get to sit on the bench with the team during warmups. SYSA's July and August summer camps are open for registration, per the club's site.

Fall 2026 registration for Pre-K through 2nd grade closes Aug. 1, the site states. The registration deadline for grades 3-8 has already passed (May 25), with players registering after that date placed only if space allows.

SYSA also recognized its Sudbury Academy Girls United and Gunners squads as tournament champions, according to the site.

Separately, Next Play Soccer School, a Concord-based program, is running an eight-week "High School Prep" camp for girls entering grades 8 through 12, held Mondays and Wednesdays through July at Nashoba Brooks School. The program was founded by Nancy Slocum and Kate Grant, described on the SYSA site as longtime high school soccer coaches at Concord-Carlisle and Lincoln-Sudbury Regional High School, respectively.

COMMUNITY -- Sudbury is hosting free FIFA World Cup watch parties, Patch reported July 8.
