Sudbury School Committee accepts METCO report, moves to accelerate fiscal 2028 budget timeline. METCO Director Leslie Hergert told the committee March 31 that state funding for the 70-student program has been flat for years even as transportation and fuel costs have risen, and that a new METCO Inc. transportation grant now covers busing Boston families to elementary evening events through December.
