Sen. Lewis Votes To Expand Beacon Hill Transparency

State Sen. Jason Lewis joined the Massachusetts Senate in voting to increase legislative transparency, giving Stoneham residents greater access to information about how decisions are made on Beacon Hill and in the governor's office, according to Stoneham Patch.

Stoneham's civic calendar is active over the next several days. The Council on Aging, the Board of Health and the Municipal Affordable Housing Trust are all scheduled to meet Tuesday, Aug. 18, with the Affordable Housing Trust convening by remote participation.

The School Committee meets by remote participation Wednesday, Aug. 19, and the Veterans Committee is scheduled to meet Wednesday, Aug. 26.
