Selectboard And Assessors Set July 29 Meetings In Ashby

ASHBY — The Ashby Selectboard and Board of Assessors have each posted agendas for meetings next week, giving residents an early look at the town's late-July business ahead of the August lull.

TOWN HALL

The Selectboard will meet in person and online on Wednesday, July 29, at 6:30 p.m., with the session held in the Selectboard Room at Town Hall and streamed for remote viewers, according to the town's News Flash feed. Agenda documents are posted on the town website ahead of the meeting.

The Board of Assessors will hold its own in-person meeting the same day, July 29, at 5 p.m. in the Assessor's Office at Town Hall, per the town's official notice. Both meetings continue a pattern of multiple town boards convening in the same week, with agendas and supporting documents available on the town's website in advance.

Elsewhere in town operations, the town's homepage continues to note that transfer station permits, priced at $50 per year, were required for access as of July 1, and that a part-time seasonal Cemetery Worker position remains posted, with applicants asked to contact Barbara Thorpe at tabos@ashbyma.gov.
