Select Board · Meeting of November 2, 2026
LITTLETON — The Littleton Select Board set the fiscal year 2027 residential tax factor at 0.892681 and voted 4-1 to let the police chief backfill two full-time vacancies and replace a part-time dispatcher. The board unanimously appointed Kelly Santiago and Zachariah Coleman as police officers, with Santiago headed to the academy December 7. Chief Assessor Kathy Miller told the board a typical homeowner's tax bill will rise about $433 under the adopted option, versus $441 if last year's shift had simply continued.
The board also approved a private street snow and ice list covering 13 roads, excluding Cricket Lane pending a neighbor dispute. On police staffing, one member said "I'm just worried about expanding" before casting the lone vote against authorizing the police chief to backfill two full-time positions and hire a part-time dispatcher to replace Joe Pagnota. Resident George Sanders told the board he plans to file a complaint with the town clerk over how the October special town meeting's moderator handled multiple warrant-article votes.
