Select Board · Meeting of November 5, 2026
MAYNARD — The Maynard Select Board approved three water and sewer contracts totaling $157,000. They include $62,000 for Stantec's lead service line inventory, $54,000 for Interstate Water and Wastewater to install a replacement RBC at the treatment plant, and a $41,000 Stantec survey to trace an unidentified industrial discharge. Utility staffer Justin said the discharge poses "a preemptive approach to avoid a violation" of the discharge permit.
The board also approved up to $1,500 for the EDC awards brunch and heard a request to fund a cultural district coordinator, with Town Administrator Gregory Johnson saying he would include it in the January draft budget. A preliminary general fund budget showed a $1.2 million deficit.
