Reading Lacrosse Association opens Summer Sixes registration as youth hockey and lacrosse programs head into summer.

READING -- The Reading Lacrosse Association (RYLA) has opened registration for its 2026 Summer Sixes season, with sessions running Monday, Tuesday, and/or Wednesday evenings at Reading Memorial High School from June 8 through July 30. Each one-hour session features approximately 30 minutes of skills and drills followed by a 30-minute Sixes-style game — a fast-paced 5-on-5 format with a goalie and limited face-offs. Space is limited, and RYLA notes the program is a strong opportunity for players interested in Select lacrosse to get extra practice and be evaluated by coaches.

YOUTH LEAGUES

Reading Youth Hockey reports 312 registered players across 23 program teams for the current season. The organization, established in 1972, fields teams from the U8 Mite level through U18 Girls Travel, including coed travel teams (Mites through Bantam) and girls travel divisions (U10–U18). No schedule results for the June 22–28 period were reported.

The Reading Lacrosse Association serves participants in grades pre-K through 8 and accepts any players living in or attending the Reading School District. Spring season runs March through the end of June.
