The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Concord Police Department's official public log for the period July 15–21, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Wednesday, July 15, 1:08 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop: A written warning was issued to the operator at Union Turnpike and Elm Street for marked lanes and defective equipment.
Wednesday, July 15, 2:06 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop: A written warning was issued to the operator on Walden Street for speed.
Wednesday, July 15, 8:16 a.m. — Accidental 911 Call: A VoIP 911 call mapping to the Nathan Pratt Drive area was confirmed accidental by a landscaper; no emergency.
Wednesday, July 15, 8:50 a.m. — Traffic Assist: Officers assisted Concord Municipal Light Plant with traffic control during a utility pole repair on Elm Street.
Wednesday, July 15, 1:01 p.m. — Larceny/Fraud: A caller reported past illegal dumping and the theft of a bench and trail camera on the 3700 block of Old Bedford Road. Report filed.
Wednesday, July 15, 1:56 p.m. — Fraud/Scam: A resident of Concord Greene reported being scammed. Report filed by Officer Awada.
Wednesday, July 15, 5:52 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop: A written warning was issued at the 3800 block of Old Marlboro Road for an unregistered vehicle and no inspection sticker.
Wednesday, July 15, 5:52 p.m. — Roadway Obstruction: A large tree branch was blocking the sidewalk at Elm Street and Crescent Road; public works was notified.
Wednesday, July 15, 6:34 p.m. — Larceny: A resident of Concord Greene reported a bicycle stolen from her carport.
Wednesday, July 15, 8:08 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: A 911 caller reported a person near MCI Concord on Commonwealth Avenue who appeared to be wearing a police uniform and pointing what looked like a handgun at a passing vehicle. Multiple units responded and checked Commonwealth Avenue, Gerow Park, Rideout Field, and the Bruce Freeman Rail Trail; no one matching the description was located. MCI Concord security advised that an unarmed employee had been conducting a foot patrol with only a flashlight for approximately 30 minutes prior, and may have been the person observed.
Wednesday, July 15, 8:52 p.m. — Alarm Activation: A burglar alarm on the 10900 block of Lowell Road was investigated; building checked secure.
Wednesday, July 15, 10:18 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop: A written warning was issued at Sudbury Road and Concord Turnpike for speed.
Thursday, July 16, 12:00 a.m. — Alarm Activation: A burglar alarm on the 7900 block of Flint Road was investigated; homeowner on scene, interior and exterior checked secure.
Thursday, July 16, 3:03 a.m. — Alarm Activation: A panic alarm on the 5800 block of Main Street was confirmed accidental by staff.
Thursday, July 16, 7:37 a.m. — Disturbance/Noise Complaint: A resident on the 3000 block of Main Street reported a chirping noise lasting approximately 30 minutes; officers determined it was coming from new construction on Old Bridge Road.
Thursday, July 16, 10:03 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A tractor-trailer operator on the 7300 block of Commonwealth Avenue reported possibly sideswiping another motorist near the railroad tracks while turning. The other vehicle initially left the area but was later located; an accident report was filed.
Thursday, July 16, 12:01 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A minor collision with no injuries and no airbag deployment at Main Street and Elm Street was resolved with a paper exchange.
Thursday, July 16, 1:21 p.m. — Disabled Motor Vehicle: A vehicle in the Route 2 rotary with flashers on was pushed to Barretts Mill Road by officers and a state trooper.
Thursday, July 16, 1:37 p.m. — Parking Complaint: A vehicle blocking Monument Square near the Colonial Inn was located by officers; the owner moved it.
Thursday, July 16, 5:00 p.m. — Traffic Signal Outage: Three green signals were out at the Sudbury Road and Thoreau Street intersection, including the green arrow on Sudbury Road and signals at the Mobil and Dunkin' Donuts approaches; officers directed traffic until Concord Municipal Light Plant cleared the roadway.
Thursday, July 16, 5:52 p.m. — Lost Property: A caller reported losing a small black bag containing medications and two wallets on Estabrook Road; caller information logged.
Thursday, July 16, 6:00 p.m. — Roadway Obstruction: A large tree fell across Old Bridge Road near Bridge Lane, compromising a power line; Old Bridge Road was not passable pending utility response.
Thursday, July 16, 6:48 p.m. — Roadway Obstruction: A large tree came down onto power lines on the 5300 block of Westford Road; utility responded.
Thursday, July 16, 7:08 p.m. — Dogs on Railroad Tracks: Mass Bay Commuter Rail reported two dogs running along the tracks just west of Sudbury Road; officers checked the area but were unable to locate the animals.
Thursday, July 16, 7:11 p.m. — Alarm Activation: A residential burglar alarm on the 2400 block of Independence Road was investigated; home checked secure.
Thursday, July 16, 7:55 p.m. — Lost Property: A found cell phone from Monument Street was turned in and entered into property.
Thursday, July 16, 10:09 p.m. — Alarm Activation: A burglar alarm on the 11200 block of Old Marlboro Road was investigated; result listed as secure, cause unknown.
Thursday, July 16, 11:09 p.m. — Alarm Activation: A burglar alarm on Riverdale Road was confirmed accidental by the homeowner.
Friday, July 17, 12:29 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop: A citation was issued at Concord Turnpike and Main Street for no inspection sticker.
Friday, July 17, 5:42 a.m. — Alarm Activation: A burglar alarm on the 11200 block of Old Marlboro Road was investigated; exterior checked secure.
Friday, July 17, 9:53 a.m. — Suspicious Activity: A resident on Middle Street reported that the previous evening an unknown person had gone through her recycling; officers spoke with her and no further action was taken.
Friday, July 17, 1:47 p.m. — Fraud: A walk-in reported discovering two Department of Education loans in his name that he did not take out. Report filed by Officer Miller.
Friday, July 17, 2:34 p.m. — Larceny: A caller on Laws Brook Road reported her rent check was stolen; officers responded and spoke with the caller.
Friday, July 17, 7:01 p.m. — Fraud/Scam: A resident on the 1700 block of Estabrook Road reported being scammed. Report filed by Officer Wood.
Friday, July 17, 11:58 p.m. — Roadway Obstruction: A tree fell across Williams Road at Mattison Drive, blocking the entire roadway and landing on power lines; fire and utility crews responded and the road was later reopened.
Saturday, July 18, 3:10 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop: A citation was issued at Concord Turnpike and Elm Street for speed, marked lanes, and unsafe operation.
Saturday, July 18, 7:18 a.m. — Alarm Activation: A burglar alarm on the 8100 block of Elm Street was confirmed accidental by staff.
Saturday, July 18, 7:57 a.m. — Alarm Activation: A burglar alarm on the 2500 block of Lanes End was confirmed accidental.
Saturday, July 18, 11:36 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A minor collision at Monument Square involved a motorcycle; a note was left on the motorcycle as the operator could not be located. Paper exchange completed.
Saturday, July 18, 7:34 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: A Concord Greene resident reported unfamiliar people entering a neighbor's apartment; officers spoke with both parties and confirmed the neighbor had guests. No issues.
Sunday, July 19, 3:45 a.m. — Arrest: Officers checked two vehicles on the 9600 block of Commonwealth Avenue; one operator was found to have an outstanding warrant. The operator's name, age, and town of residence were not included in the log text provided. [SEE REVIEW FLAG.] The individual was held, bail was set at personal recognizance, and the party was due in Concord District Court at 8:30 a.m. on July 20.
Sunday, July 19, 9:50 a.m. — Fraud: A resident on the 1400 block of Deacon Haynes Road reported identity fraud. Report filed by Officer Olansky.
Sunday, July 19, 2:51 p.m. — Civil Matter: A resident on the 1400 block of Dalton Road requested extra patrols in the area; sector patrols directed to keep watch.
Monday, July 20, 8:07 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A rollover crash with airbag deployment on Route 2 at Baker Avenue Extension involved three patients, one of whom was initially entrapped; the patient was extricated. Three patients were transported to Emerson Hospital. State Police assumed jurisdiction; Concord units cleared the scene after vehicles were removed.
Monday, July 20, 9:59 a.m. — Lost/Found Property: Two wallets left at the Colonial Inn on Monument Square were turned in; one was retrieved by the owner the same day.
