Town News Brief _ Party by the Bridge Special _ · Meeting of August 29, 2026

Tyngsborough's Party by the Bridge returns downtown Saturday with $5 admission, free entry for kids 12 and under, and fireworks over the Merrimack River at dusk. The Music Pavilion stage next to First Parish runs the Rampage Trio at 11 a.m., Tyngsborough's own Ben Durand and his band at 2 p.m., and Shout of Poison at 5:30 and 7 p.m., with additional acts on the Winslow stage. Winslow Road is closed between Middlesex Road and Kendall Road through Monday morning, Kendall Road closed at Bryant Lane starting 7 a.m., and a southbound Middlesex Road lane near Rockland Bank Trust and Littlefield Library is also shut.

Meteorologist Danielle Noyce forecast mid-70s and mostly sunny skies, cooling into the "cool and comfortable" mid-60s for the evening fireworks, with "no weather-related issues" expected. Traffic near the bridge will briefly stop twice as a fireworks barge is moved into place and during the show itself.
