Newton's West Nile Virus Risk Raised To High

NEWTON — Newton's risk level for West Nile virus has been elevated to high after Middlesex County's first confirmed human case of the year, health officials reported this week. The change puts the city among the areas most closely watched by the state as summer mosquito season continues.
