Marlborough Board of Health Warns of West Nile Virus Detection
MARLBOROUGH — Massachusetts health officials have confirmed West Nile virus in mosquito samples collected in Marlborough, prompting the city's Board of Health to issue a public notice and announce spraying in designated areas this week.

The Massachusetts Department of Public Health informed the city that West Nile virus turned up in mosquito samples collected locally, according to notices posted by the city and the Board of Health. Officials are advising residents to limit outdoor exposure at dawn and dusk while the spraying program moves through affected neighborhoods.
