Littleton Youth Baseball & Softball has closed registration for its 2026 fall season and is calling for new volunteer board members.

LITTLETON -- Littleton Youth Baseball & Softball (LYBS) announced this week that "2026 FALL SEASON REGISTRATION IS NOW CLOSED," telling families "we'll see your players on the field." The closure follows last week's update, when the organization had closed fall baseball sign-ups but kept fall softball registration open; the new notice indicates softball registration has since closed as well.

YOUTH LEAGUES

LYBS is putting out a call for volunteers to join its all-volunteer board, which the group says "helps to organize the program behind the scenes." The organization is seeking people who bring "love for the game," new ideas, and skills including "event planning, communication, problem solving, finance, tech, social media, fundraising, partnership building." Interested residents are directed to email president@littletonbaseball.org.

LYBS has also opened its 2026 sponsorship program, inviting local businesses to support the league. The group says that with sponsor support this past year it "helped over 500 local kids learn teamwork, resilience, and sportsmanship," purchased new equipment for all teams, offered no-cost offseason clinics, waived registration fees for families in need, and installed lights at Jet Softball Field. Sponsorship questions can be directed to lybsfundraising@littletonbaseball.org.

Separately, Littleton Youth Sports, an umbrella youth sports organization, lists Thunder Baseball, Thunder Football, Thunder Lacrosse and Thunder Basketball among its programs, with registration open through its website and season news, schedules and results posted by sport.
