Littleton Recreation Department to Launch New Registration System in August

Littleton Parks, Recreation, & Community Education announced it will move to a new online registration system beginning in late August, giving residents a fresh process for signing up for town programs heading into the fall season.

TOWN HALL

The Parks, Recreation, & Community Education department told residents via the town's News Flash that its online registration platform is changing beginning in late August. The town did not provide additional detail on which programs will be affected or what residents need to do to prepare, but the update signals a shift in how families will sign up for fall and winter offerings.

Town officials also reiterated that real estate tax payments are due August 3, a routine but consequential reminder for property owners as the deadline approaches.

SCHOOLS

Littleton Public Schools' website continues to spotlight the Shaker Lane building project, though no new update accompanied that banner this week. The district's calendar shows a School Committee Negotiating Subcommittee meeting set for Friday at the Reuben Hoar Library's Murray Conference Room, part of ongoing labor discussions between the district and staff.

COMMUNITY & ARTS

The Reuben Hoar Library's Board of Trustees will meet July 30 at 6:30 p.m. in the Murray Room, continuing routine library governance business.

Across the state line, the Littleton, NH Public Library — a frequent point of confusion given the shared town name — has been running its Live Art Book Club and Good Musical Morning programs for young readers this week, alongside a WMSI Family Tinker Time astronomy session for kids ages 6-12. Those programs are based in New Hampshire's Littleton, not Massachusetts, but appear in shared regional alerts.
