Library Rolls Out Dinosaur Show, Chess, Stitching Programs This Week

The Lincoln Public Library rolls into a busy stretch this week with a trio of summer programs for both kids and adults, even as ongoing construction on Library Lane continues to reshape how patrons reach the building.

The Lincoln Public Library has a full slate of programming this week. On Wednesday, July 29, the library hosts its Knitting & Stitching Group, an open drop-in session for anyone who knits, crochets, or does embroidery or other handwork. The same day brings Intergenerational Chess, part of a summer series pairing players across generations, and the "Miss Frizzle Dinosaur Show," a family program built around the Magic School Bus franchise for young fans.

The library also continues to promote its 2nd Annual Seed Library launch and open submissions for the Virginia Rundell Award, both previously announced initiatives still accepting participation.
