Library Keeps Summer Programs Rolling This Week

BILLERICA — Billerica Public Library is moving through its summer season this week, with several community programs on the calendar for residents of all ages.

The Billerica Public Library's Summer Reading Challenge, which kicked off June 22, remains open to readers of all ages this week. The library also has a run of upcoming events on its calendar, including a Boston Area Gleaners program set for Thursday, July 16, at 7 p.m., and a Family Friends Ice Cream Social planned for Tuesday, July 28, at 6 p.m.

The library continues to host the MassHire Lowell Mobile Career Center every Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the parking lot behind the library building at 15 Concord Road, offering residents job-search assistance and career resources close to home.

COMING UP

The Boston Area Gleaners program at Billerica Public Library is scheduled for Thursday, July 16, at 7 p.m.; registration is available through the library's website. The Family Friends of the Billerica Public Library Ice Cream Social follows on Tuesday, July 28, at 6 p.m. The MassHire Lowell Mobile Career Center returns every Monday from 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m. in the library's rear parking lot.
