Lakeview Avenue Water Main Work Continues to Disrupt Traffic

TYNGSBOROUGH — Water main replacement work on Lakeview Avenue is continuing this week, with the town warning of ongoing changes to traffic access throughout the project area.

The town's Department of Public Works said replacement of the water main along Lakeview Avenue continues, and drivers should expect shifting detour patterns as work progresses. Officials did not give a completion date in the latest update.

Separately, the town is seeking a resident to fill a vacancy on the Board of Library Trustees. Town Hall is asking motivated residents interested in serving to apply.

COMING UP

Tuesday, Aug. 18, is a busy date on the town calendar. It is the filing deadline for items to go before the Conservation Commission's Sept. 8 meeting and the Planning Board's Sept. 17 meeting. The Sustainability Committee and the Tyngsborough Public Schools School Committee are both scheduled to meet that same evening.
