Community Preservation Committee · Meeting of January 26, 2026

GROTON — The Community Preservation Committee voted 6-1 to name one member to sign an invoice. Members voted to designate Anna Elliott to sign an intern-wage invoice for the history center, due at accounting Wednesday. Bruce cast the lone no vote, saying "I don't like the idea of having one person have that authority." The committee also reviewed feedback letters for project applicants and agreed to ask all of them to seek other funding.

It left open whether to pay the $627,000 middle school track balance in one year or two. A two-year split would free roughly $325,000 for projects. Final applications are due February 11.
