Conservation · Meeting of June 23, 2026

Chelmsford Conservation Commission ordered a Littleton Road wetland fill restored. The commission voted 7-0 to issue an Enforcement Order for 73 Littleton Road, where Conservation Agent David Koonce estimated 1,000 to 1,500 square feet of fill about a foot deep. The order requires a plan of original conditions and a restoration plan by September 1, 2026, and is to be recorded at the Registry of Deeds, subject to Town Counsel support.

Owner Jose Jacinto said "I know I made the mistake" and cited about $200,000 in business losses. The commission also approved a CSX Transportation determination with a Positive 2A finding for five years and continued four hearings to July 14 or July 28. At 233 Mill Road, owners will likely file a Notice of Intent to rebuild a retaining wall.
