Chelmsford Bonds Earn Top AAA Rating From S&P Global
CHELMSFORD — Chelmsford's newest bond issue landed the highest grade a municipality can receive, with S&P Global assigning the town's Series 2026 general obligation bonds a AAA rating in a report released over the weekend.

S&P Global's top-tier grade signals confidence in the town's budgeting and reserves and can help Chelmsford borrow at lower interest rates on the new bond issue, according to the ratings report.
