Carlisle Sets Special Town Meeting For November 16

CARLISLE — The town has scheduled a Special Town Meeting for Nov. 16 in the Corey Auditorium and Cafeteria at Carlisle Public School, according to a Town Hall announcement, while staff prepare for a full-day training closure this week.

A Special Town Meeting is now set for Nov. 16 at the Corey Auditorium and Cafeteria of Carlisle Public School, the town announced. Officials said additional information will be posted as the meeting date approaches; no warrant articles have been released yet.

Town Hall will be closed all day Wednesday, Aug. 19, so staff can take part in professional development and training, the town said.

The Building Department remains closed on Fridays for the summer and will resume its regular Friday hours in September, the town noted, thanking residents for their patience.

COMING UP

The Carlisle Cultural Council meets remotely on Wednesday, Aug. 19. The Municipal Facilities Committee holds a hybrid meeting Thursday, Aug. 20, the same day the Environmental Sustainability Committee meets remotely.
