Carlisle Select Board Seeks Input On Marijuana Delivery Opt-Out

CARLISLE — The Select Board is asking Carlisle residents to weigh in on whether the town should request a temporary waiver from the Commonwealth to opt out of marijuana delivery for two years, with the board taking up the question at its Tuesday, July 28 meeting.

Separately, Town Hall released the July edition of the town's municipal newsletter this week, rounding up municipal and community news, celebrations and happenings; the newsletter noted that submissions from community groups are welcome for future editions.

SCHOOLS

Carlisle Public Schools has set its next School Committee meeting for Wednesday, August 5, at 10 a.m. The district's main office is keeping summer hours of 8 a.m. to 3 p.m. through August 7, and the district continues its superintendent search this summer, according to the Carlisle Public Schools website.
