Boxborough Housing Board advances Stow Road planning and affordable housing survey effort. At the June 23 hybrid meeting, Chair R. Allen "Al" Murphy and Member Brittany Zorn led a review of the 2013 Stow Road Concept Development Committee's conclusions — which favored 20 to 25 ownership units with at least 25 percent deed-restricted affordable — and members agreed to use the July 28 regular meeting as a focused Stow Road session, pending Planning Board input on zoning options.

Town staff member Ian agreed to contact the Planning Board chair to determine whether a representative would join a Housing Board session or wait for a formal proposal. Member Phyn Vermin proposed a targeted survey of the town's approximately 90 current affordable-housing households, to be distributed through the rental assistance program's client list, with MetroWest Housing Solutions also to be contacted about broader distribution. The board also voted unanimously to approve the May 26 minutes and agreed to remove a Boxborough Rental Assistance Program client who upgraded to a market-rate unit at approximately $4,150 per month without notifying the program.
