WATERTOWN — The Watertown Biosafety Committee voted unanimously to recommend permits for two relocating biotech firms. Members approved, 3-0, Camp 4 Therapeutics' bid to occupy 12,000 square feet at 100 Talcott Avenue, pending a workers' compensation form, and voted 3-0 to back Quintara Biosciences' move to 615 Mount Auburn Street after flagging a floor-plan issue with a defibrillator placed only inside lab space. The committee also reviewed an amendment for Tremfya Bio's move to 100 Forge Road and fielded an extended, often confused exchange with representatives of three Flagship Pioneering-affiliated companies, Profound, Ampersand and eBiologics, over missing OpenGov documentation.

"There were a lot of documents missing and then there was a lot of detail that was just not there," said committee member Mia Lieberman. The three companies' applications were pushed to the committee's June meeting.
