Billerica Public Library Summer Reading Challenge Now Open to All Ages

The Billerica Public Library's Summer Reading Challenge, open to patrons of all ages, kicked off Monday, June 22, giving residents through the summer months a reason to keep coming through the doors at 15 Concord Road.

The library launched its Summer Reading Challenge this week for children, teens, and adults alike. Participants can stop by the circulation desk or visit billericalibrary.org to sign up and track their reading progress. The program runs through the summer and is free with a library card.

Looking further ahead on the library calendar, two community events are on the books: the Boston Area Gleaners will present a program on Thursday, July 16, at 7:00 p.m. — registration is open now on the library's website. The Family Friends of the Billerica Public Library will host an Ice Cream Social on Tuesday, July 28, at 6:00 p.m. Additionally, the Family Friends are selling tote bags for $10 each while supplies last at the circulation desk.
