Ashby Transfer Station Permits Must Be Purchased Before July 1 Deadline

Residents who have not yet purchased a transfer station permit have until July 1 to do so, with the $50 annual permit available through two purchase options listed on the town website — making it the most time-sensitive item on the municipal calendar this week.

TOWN HALL

The town's News Flash feed produced no new items within the coverage window, but a standing notice from earlier this month remains relevant: transfer station permits for the new permit year must be purchased by July 1. The annual permit costs $50, and all purchases must be completed before that date to maintain access to the Ashby Recycle Center & Transfer Station. Residents can find purchase options on the town website at ci.ashby.ma.us.

The town is also still accepting applications for a part-time seasonal Cemetery Worker to assist with care and maintenance of Ashby's three town cemeteries. Interested applicants should contact Barbara Thorpe at tabos@ashbyma.gov or 978-386-2424, ext. 123.
