Billerica Library Sets Ice Cream Social, Birdfeeding Talk This Week
The Billerica Public Library has two community events on the calendar this week, an ice cream social Tuesday and a Mass Audubon birdfeeding talk Thursday, giving residents fresh reasons to stop by 15 Concord Road.

The Family Friends of the Billerica Public Library will host an Ice Cream Social on Tuesday, July 28, at 6 p.m., a free community gathering organized by the library's volunteer support group. The Family Friends group also continues to sell tote bags for $10 each at the circulation desk while supplies last, with proceeds supporting library programs and museum pass offerings.
On Thursday, July 30, at 7 p.m., the library will host "Mass Audubon Joys of Birdfeeding," a program for residents interested in backyard birding; registration is requested. The library's Masshire Lowell Mobile Career Center also continues its regular Monday sessions, 10:30 a.m. to 2:30 p.m., in the parking lot behind the library, offering job-seekers on-site career assistance. Summer Reading Challenge programs for children, teens and adults remain underway at the library through the season.
