Belmont Youth Join Countywide Public Safety Academy's Anniversary Session

BELMONT — Belmont teens spent part of their summer training alongside cadets from across the county in a public safety academy marking its 25th anniversary, according to Belmont Patch, while Town Hall and the school district posted a handful of practical updates for residents heading into the Labor Day stretch.

TOWN HALL

The Town Clerk's office has posted formal notice of the advance opening and deposit of ballots for the September 1 State Primary, a procedural step ahead of Election Day that will run alongside continued early voting at Town Hall this week. Residents can still cast early ballots at Town Hall through Thursday, Aug. 27, before in-person early voting closes ahead of the primary.

SCHOOLS

Belmont Public Schools has opened registration for the 2026-2027 school year, the district announced on its website, giving families with incoming students a chance to get enrollment paperwork started before the new year begins.
