Weston Select Board Sets November Special Town Meeting, Fills Committee Vacancy

WESTON -- May 28, 2026, Weston Select Board appoints Catherine Diver to Traffic and Sidewalk Committee and sets November 23 special town meeting. Town Manager Leon Gohman, in a May 28 Select Board Rewind episode, recapped the May 26 meeting, noting the board also voted to add a second member to the school building committee overseeing a high school and middle school facilities project. The Water Department received a Water System Award from the Commonwealth of Massachusetts for the eighth time in 11 years. Two items, a letter to the Friends of the Josiah Smith Tavern and revisions to the town manager evaluation form, were carried over to future meetings. The fall special town meeting will be held at the high school auditorium.
