WOBURN — The Woburn Traffic Commission approved a motion to move the Walnut Hill Park no-parking restriction from the westerly to the easterly side of the street. Sergeant Stokes proposed the change, saying the road is wide enough for parking on one side and the old order is rarely enforced. The commission denied speed bumps on Mount Pleasant Street, citing a city solicitor opinion against them, and filed a Campbell Street request after residents described speeding.
Members also approved a Center Street and Park Street stop sign on second reading and tabled South Bedford Street handicapped parking, with a staff member saying speeding complaints are quicker to resolve through police.
