Select Board Unveils Goals For The Year Ahead

HOLLISTON — Holliston's Select Board has settled on a fresh set of priorities for the year ahead, according to a notice posted to the town's News Flash page this week, giving town hall a roadmap as several other fall deadlines and events line up on the town calendar.

TOWN HALL The Select Board's annual goals were posted to the town website Thursday, laying out the board's priorities for the coming year (details at the town's CivicAlerts page). Separately, the town's Department of Public Works is now hiring plow contractors and CDL drivers with plowing experience ahead of the winter season.

All town boards and committees are required to complete Open Meeting Law and ethics training on September 23, per a town announcement. The town is also inviting residents to sign up for numerous open committee volunteer opportunities, and the town has scheduled a free flu and COVID-19 clinic for October 17.
