Road Crews Continue Old Bedford Road, Bedford Street Work This Week
CONCORD — Concord's roadway contractor is keeping crews on Old Bedford Road and Bedford Street through Friday, continuing work that began with Monday's closure of Spencer Brook Road, according to the town's latest road-work advisory.
TOWN HALL The Town of Concord's roadway contractor will continue work the week of July 20-24 on Old Bedford Road and Bedford Street, per a town advisory, extending a stretch of construction that began with Monday's closure of Spencer Brook Road.
The town is also reminding residents that lawn-watering restrictions remain in effect amid the ongoing hot weather, and is pointing residents to its FY26 Grants Dashboard, which town officials say offers a clearer view of how Concord is using grant funding to support community programs.
COMMUNITY & ARTS At the Free Public Library's Main Library, the Munroe Gallery is hosting "Summer Memories," a solo exhibition of landscapes and cherished-moment scenes by Massachusetts artist Lucinda Hamilton, on view through July 30. The library is also showing "A Celebration of the Declaration: An Exhibition of Rare 1776 Documents," featuring rare historical documents, through July 26.
