The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Concord Police Department's official public log for the period July 22–27, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Wednesday, July 22, 12:16 a.m. — Roadway Obstruction: A tree limb in the roadway at Baker Avenue and Main Street was removed; road cleared.
Wednesday, July 22, 8:26 a.m. — Traffic Complaint: A landscaping truck blocking Upland Road and making it impassable was moved from the roadway.
Wednesday, July 22, 11:54 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A minor collision on the 6400 block of Main Street was resolved with a paper exchange; no injuries reported.
Wednesday, July 22, 12:56 p.m. — Traffic Complaint: A tree company was blocking The Valley Road at Holdenwood Road with no traffic detail present; officer responded and cleared the scene.
Wednesday, July 22, 1:01 p.m. — Roadway Obstruction: Branches were reported down across the roadway at Williams Road and Old Marlboro Road; road cleared after response.
Wednesday, July 22, 2:15 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A collision with no personal injury was reported on the 10500 block of Main Street; investigated.
Wednesday, July 22, 5:32 p.m. — Traffic Complaint: A caller reported an erratic operator on Route 2A heading into Concord from Lincoln, crossing double yellow lines and following too closely; vehicle was gone on arrival.
Wednesday, July 22, 6:26 p.m. — Roadway Obstruction: Potholes on the 3700 block of Old Bedford Road were flagged as hazardous following rain; cones placed near the affected area.
Wednesday, July 22, 6:49 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-car collision at Heywood Street and Walden Street involved airbag deployment and fluid leaking from a vehicle; fire and EMS responded, two patients declined transport, both vehicles were towed, and the road was reopened.
Wednesday, July 22, 6:50 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop: Citation issued on Walden Street for a stop sign violation.
Wednesday, July 22, 7:17 p.m. — Disabled Motor Vehicle: A vehicle on the 7000 block of Old Bedford Road sustained a flat tire after striking a pothole; tow responded and the roadway was repaired.
Wednesday, July 22, 7:50 p.m. — Disabled Motor Vehicle: An unoccupied vehicle in the parking lot of a business on Elm Street appeared to have rolled; operator located and vehicle moved, no issues.
Wednesday, July 22, 11:12 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop: Citation issued on Walden Street for a stop sign violation.
Thursday, July 23, 7:17 a.m. — Alarm Activation: A burglar alarm on Baker Avenue was determined to be accidental, caused by a faulty door that kept triggering the alarm.
Thursday, July 23, 10:25 a.m. — Breaking and Entering: A homeowner on the 3000 block of Main Street reported that a window in the garage of a home under renovation had been broken and multiple tools stolen; Massachusetts State Police Crime Services responded and a report was filed.
Thursday, July 23, 1:35 p.m. — Request for Police Services: A walk-in reported a dispute over a cat adoption in which a breeder in Hopkinton allegedly gave the animal to the wrong family, who refused to return it; party was referred to the Animal Control Officer.
Thursday, July 23, 2:05 p.m. — Computer Crime: A resident on the 600 block of Buckmaster Drive reported that her computer had been hacked; an officer responded, no personal information was found to have been compromised, and advice was given.
Thursday, July 23, 4:28 p.m. — Animal Control: A deer struck by a vehicle was found injured in a field near the 200 block of Barretts Mill Road; the animal was euthanized on scene by an officer. A report was filed.
Thursday, July 23, 11:06 p.m. — Well-Being Check: Officers responded to a parking lot on Walden Street after a vehicle with its hazard lights on had been left unattended for two days; the registered owner was contacted by phone and confirmed the vehicle would remain in place.
Friday, July 24, 1:44 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Stop: Citation issued near Main Street and Orchard Road for speeding.
Friday, July 24, 2:02 a.m. — Request for Police Services: Emerson Hospital contacted police after staff at a Pyramid Healthcare facility on the 5800 block of Main Street could not be reached for approximately four hours regarding two patient discharges; officers responded, located staff on the second floor, and confirmed staff contacted the hospital. Friday, July 24, 9:56 a.m. — Breaking and Entering: A project manager for a renovation on the 5400 block of Wilson Road reported that all copper wire had been stolen from the residence; the incident was determined to have occurred between the previous Friday at 4 p.m. and the prior Wednesday at 7 a.m. A report was filed.
Friday, July 24, 12:30 p.m. — Disturbance: A resident on the 11000 block of Laws Brook Road reported possible sounds of fireworks or a car backfiring; area checked with nothing found, possibly attributed to a nearby range.
Friday, July 24, 1:46 p.m. — Lost and Found: A wallet found on the rail trail was turned in to a fire station; the owner was contacted and retrieved it.
Friday, July 24, 3:58 p.m. — Lost Property: A walk-in reported losing a phone and credit cards on Liberty Street the previous day; the party left before speaking with an officer.
Friday, July 24, 7:03 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A vehicle was struck in the parking lot of Brigham Farm on Elsinore Street between 2 p.m. and 6 p.m.; reported.
Friday, July 24, 7:56 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A walk-in reported her vehicle was struck in the parking lot of a business on the 5900 block of Main Street; a report was filed.
Friday, July 24, 8:38 p.m. — Request for Police Services: A walk-in reported a person sleeping in the lobby of a building on Walden Street; officer responded and cleared the scene.
Friday, July 24, 9:12 p.m. — Suspicious Activity: A caller reported a vehicle driving into the Warners Pond boat launch area on the 6500 block of Commonwealth Avenue with its lights off; officer checked the lot and found no vehicles present.
Saturday, July 25, 2:14 a.m. — Arrest: A motor vehicle stop at Main Street and Orchard Road resulted in field sobriety tests being administered and an arrest for Operating Under the Influence of Liquor. The log does not include the arrestee's name, age, or town of residence. [SEE REVIEW]
Saturday, July 25, 8:35 a.m. — Well-Being Check: A caller reported hearing someone call for help on the Battle Road Trail near Manuel Drive; National Park Service and police checked the trail from Meriam's Corner to Shadyside Avenue and found nothing. National Park Service continued checking toward the town line.
Saturday, July 25, 9:47 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A two-vehicle collision in the Route 2 rotary near Elm Street involved airbag deployment in one vehicle; fire and EMS responded and four patients declined transport. Massachusetts State Police handled the investigation.
Saturday, July 25, 1:05 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash, Serious Injury: Multiple 911 calls reported a serious crash at Walden Street and Brister's Hill Road; one vehicle had entrapment. Fire, EMS, and multiple mutual-aid ambulances responded. Medflight was requested; patients were transported to Emerson Hospital and Lahey. Massachusetts State Police Crime Scene Services and a detective unit responded. Walden Street was shut down between Route 2 and Thoreau Street; Route 2 was also shut down. Saturday, July 25, 2:15 p.m. — Assault: An assault was reported at Walden Street and Brister's Hill Road; no charges were pressed.
Saturday, July 25, 3:07 p.m. — Disturbance: A verbal altercation at Punkatasset Hill near Hutchins Pond involved a dispute over an off-leash dog; the involved party was no longer on scene when officers arrived, and a report was filed.
Saturday, July 25, 6:46 p.m. — Illegal Dumping / Breaking and Entering: A resident on the 5400 block of Wilson Road reported a vehicle illegally dumping material; a follow-up 911 call from the property owner linked the vehicle to the recent breaking and entering at the same address. Sunday, July 26, 6:46 a.m. — Arrest: A caller reported a female operator slumped over the steering wheel of a vehicle parked in the roadway near Stow Street and Everett Street; officers, fire, and EMS responded. The operator was transported by ambulance and arrested at Emerson Hospital for Operating Under the Influence of Liquor. The log does not include the arrestee's name, age, or town of residence. Sunday, July 26, 12:37 p.m. — Parking Complaint: Five citations were issued for illegally parked vehicles at the Hapgood Parking Lot on Walden Street.
Sunday, July 26, 5:13 p.m. — Summons Issued: A 75-year-old woman was found fallen near her vehicle in the Brooks Village parking lot area on the 11200 block of Lexington Road; she was transported by ambulance to Emerson Hospital, where she was admitted. A summons was issued for Operating Under the Influence of Liquor (first offense, immediate threat). The log does not include the arrestee's name or town of residence. [SEE REVIEW]
Monday, July 27, 10:02 a.m. — Larceny: The owner of Concord Provisions on Thoreau Street reported a shoplifting incident; the suspect, described as a middle-aged white woman wearing all black with brown hair, sunglasses, and a black leather bag, was not located. A report was filed.
Monday, July 27, 1:34 p.m. — Donated Firearms: A resident on the 9400 block of Lexington Road surrendered two antique firearms for destruction; a report was filed.
Monday, July 27, 6:11 p.m. — Suspicious Activity / Identity Theft: A resident on the 3900 block of Old Marlboro Road reported that American Express contacted him to say a credit card had been fraudulently opened in his name and used to purchase a large quantity of firearms; a report was filed.
