The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Concord Police Department's official public log for the period August 5–10, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).
Wednesday, Aug. 5, 12:28 a.m. — Arrest: Police stopped a motor vehicle near the intersection of Concord Turnpike and Elm Street and determined the operator was Operating Under the Influence of Liquor. Wednesday, Aug. 5, 11:37 a.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A minor two-vehicle crash with no injuries occurred in the area of the 2900 block of Main Street; officers documented a paper exchange after the second vehicle had left the scene.
Thursday, Aug. 6, 12:54 p.m. — Breaking and Entering: A resident of Everett Gardens reported that someone broke into her apartment on August 4; officers responded and a report was filed.
Thursday, Aug. 6, 1:18 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash, Hit-and-Run: A motorist reported being sideswiped in the parking lot on Baker Avenue by a black sedan that fled the scene; an officer investigated and filed a report.
Thursday, Aug. 6, 1:42 p.m. — Ammunition Disposal: A resident of Commonwealth Avenue brought old ammunition to the station requesting disposal; the items were accepted and a report was filed.
Thursday, Aug. 6, 1:22 p.m. — Fraud: A resident of River Street reported bank fraud; an officer responded by telephone, as the resident was out of state, and a report was filed.
Thursday, Aug. 6, 7:44 p.m. — Disabled Motor Vehicles, Road Hazard: Three motor vehicles sustained tire damage from unmarked potholes on the Concord side of the town line on the 7000 block of Old Bedford Road; all operators arranged private tows and vehicles were moved off the roadway.
Thursday, Aug. 6, 9:59 p.m. — Dog Bite: A caller reported that a child was bitten by a dog near Old Bedford Road at approximately 9 p.m., with the bite breaking skin; the caller did not obtain information on the dog or its owner and went to urgent care. The animal control officer was notified and will follow up.
Thursday, Aug. 6, 11:44 p.m. — Commercial Burglar Alarm, Property Damage: Responding officers found a broken window near a door at a commercial property on Strawberry Hill Road; the building interior checked secure.
Friday, Aug. 7, 2:55 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A vehicle struck a stone wall in the area of the 8100 block of Lowell Road past Barretts Mill Road with no occupant found inside; officers located the vehicle and a report was filed.
Friday, Aug. 7, 4:07 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash, Hit-and-Run: A vehicle wanted in connection with a hit-and-run in the Walden Pond area was stopped by Lincoln Police at Nine Acre Corner; the incident was confirmed to have occurred in Concord, and officers completed a paper exchange. No injuries were reported.
Friday, Aug. 7, 11:18 p.m. — Welfare Check, Protective Custody: Officers responded to a report of an erratic male near the Concord Depot on Thoreau Street and took one party into protective custody; the individual was later released to a family member.
Saturday, Aug. 8, 8:04 a.m. — Road Hazard: A wire and tree branch were reported in the roadway on Heaths Bridge Road; both were removed and the road was cleared.
Saturday, Aug. 8, 8:27 a.m. — Mutual Aid, Barricaded Person: Concord officers assisted Lincoln Police on Bedford Road in Lincoln with a report of a male possibly barricaded in a residence with access to weapons; the male came out and spoke with officers, and units cleared.
Saturday, Aug. 8, 9:44 a.m. / 2:29 p.m. — Suspicious Person: A caller on Musketaquid Road reported a suspicious person who looked into a garage and left in a vehicle when approached; a report was filed. Later that afternoon, the same party returned to the address in a black Audi and left when officers arrived.
Saturday, Aug. 8, 12:14 p.m. — Fraud: A resident of Newbury Court reported being scammed out of money from a financial account; an officer responded and filed a report.
Saturday, Aug. 8, 2:43 p.m. — Dog Complaint: A mail carrier reported an aggressive dog had blocked access to his truck on Deacon Haynes Road; the carrier was able to return to his vehicle before officers arrived. The animal control officer was notified and will follow up.
Saturday, Aug. 8, 9:52 p.m. — Disturbance: Officers responded to a request for assistance with a disorderly male at Emerson Hospital; the individual was issued discharge paperwork and assisted with transportation.
Saturday, Aug. 8, 10:08 p.m. — Motor Vehicle Crash: A driver reported striking a tree and driving onto a lawn on Mildred Circle while making a delivery; there were no injuries and no airbag deployment. Minor property damage was noted to the tree and grass; a report was filed.
Sunday, Aug. 9, 7:15 a.m. — Vandalism: An anonymous caller reported damage to a sculpture at Junction Park on Main Street; officers photographed the scene and filed a report.
Sunday, Aug. 9, 10:41 a.m. — Suspicious Activity: Officers responded to a report of suspicious activity near the 2800 block of Lowell Road; units investigated and a report was filed.
Sunday, Aug. 9, 4:24 p.m. — Suspicious Activity, Trespassing: Officers responded to a report of a person who had entered a business on Walden Street after hours and was using the restroom; parties were spoken to and advised of no-trespass options.
Sunday, Aug. 9, 5:54 p.m. — Welfare Check: Officers checked on a person walking on Route 2 near Elm Street and provided a courtesy transport to West Concord Depot.
Sunday, Aug. 9, 6:12 p.m. — Road Hazard: A motorist reported a trash barrel in the roadway on Route 2 westbound between Exit 125 and Bedford Road; State Police were notified.
Sunday, Aug. 9, 8:10 p.m. — Suspicious Activity, Report of Firearms: A caller on Nathan Pratt Drive reported two males with firearms drawn entering a nearby unit; multiple units and Maynard Police responded. Officers reported the situation was under control after speaking with a temporary resident across the hall, and a report was filed.
Monday, Aug. 10, 6:35 a.m. — Reported Assault: A caller near the Emerson Hospital campus reported being assaulted by staff and having a bleeding injury to his arm; an officer responded and filed a report.
