Invasive and Native Plant Advisory Committee · Meeting of March 4, 2026
Pepperell's Invasive and Native Plant Advisory Committee voted unanimously to send an expanded invasive plant management plan to the town administrator. The plan would add guidance covering privately owned farmland, land under development, DPW roadside work and chemical control methods, following a request from Select Board member Tony Beattie about farmland resources. The committee also confirmed its native seed giveaway with library Circulation Director Cheryl Burgess and voted to adopt a Thoreau-inspired theme, "I went to the woods because...," for its community art show.
