The following is a compilation of incidents and arrests recorded in the Melrose Police Department's official public log for the period April 6–12, 2026. All persons listed are presumed innocent until proven guilty in a court of law. Domestic violence incidents, sexual assaults, and juvenile matters are excluded per Massachusetts law (G.L. c. 41, section 98F).


Monday, April 6, 6:55 a.m.–8:35 a.m.Breaking and Entering (Past): Three separate breaking-and-entering reports were filed in the early morning hours, at properties on the 49-block of Marmion Road, Larchmont Road, and Harding Road.

Monday, April 6, 8:07 a.m.Larceny/Forgery/Fraud: A report was taken at a property on the 33-block of Orchard Lane.

Monday, April 6, 8:35 a.m.Auto Theft: A motor vehicle theft was reported at a property on the 91-block of Sheffield Road.

Monday, April 6, 11:21 a.m.Suspicious Motor Vehicle: Officers responded to a suspicious motor vehicle on Country Club Road; the matter was resolved at the scene.

Monday, April 6, 3:14 p.m.Suspicious Motor Vehicle: A report was filed regarding a suspicious motor vehicle at a property on Bay State Road.

Monday, April 6, 4:09 p.m.Medical Emergency: A medical emergency was reported; unit cleared without transport.

Monday, April 6, 4:59 p.m.Motor Vehicle Accident: A crash was reported at the intersection of Stevens Road and Warwick Road.

Monday, April 6, 5:08 p.m.Motor Vehicle Accident: A crash was reported at the intersection of East Foster Street and Gooch Street.

Monday, April 6, 8:38 p.m.Medical Emergency: A medical emergency was reported; the person was transported to the hospital.

Monday, April 6, 8:41 p.m.Assist Citizen: A report was filed at Melrose Wakefield Hospital on Lebanon Street.


Tuesday, April 7, 3:56 a.m.Motor Vehicle Accident: A crash was reported at the intersection of Washington Street and Pleasant Street.

Tuesday, April 7, 6:47 a.m.Medical Emergency: A medical emergency was reported; the person was transported to the hospital.

Tuesday, April 7, 7:02 a.m.–7:28 a.m.Breaking and Entering (Past): Three separate breaking-and-entering reports were filed, at properties on West Emerson Street, Trenton Street, and North Avenue. The cluster follows three similar reports in Melrose the previous morning.

Tuesday, April 7, 1:49 p.m.Assist Citizen: A report was taken at a property on West Wyoming Avenue.

Tuesday, April 7, 2:42 p.m.Motor Vehicle Accident: A crash was reported at 178 Linwood Avenue.

Tuesday, April 7, 4:18 p.m.Vandalism: A report was taken in the vicinity of Upham Street and Dell Avenue.

Tuesday, April 7, 4:30 p.m.Medical Emergency: A medical emergency was reported; the person was transported to the hospital.

Tuesday, April 7, 8:37 p.m.Medical Emergency: A medical emergency notification was made.


Wednesday, April 8, 8:29 a.m.Motor Vehicle Accident: A crash was reported at the intersection of West Wyoming Avenue and Trenton Street.

Wednesday, April 8, 6:25 a.m.Assist Citizen: A report was taken at a property on Converse Lane.

Wednesday, April 8, 2:36 p.m.Medical Emergency: A medical emergency was reported; the person was transported to the hospital.

Wednesday, April 8, 7:31 p.m.Medical Emergency: A medical emergency was reported; the person was transported to the hospital.

Wednesday, April 8, 10:01 p.m.Medical Emergency: A medical emergency notification was made.


Thursday, April 9, 8:26 a.m.Medical Emergency: A medical emergency was reported; the person was referred for care.

Thursday, April 9, 7:52 p.m.Assist Citizen: A report was taken at a property on Marmion Road.

Thursday, April 9, 8:39 p.m.Sudden Death: Officers responded to a sudden death; a report was filed (Incident 26-4104-OF).

Thursday, April 9, 9:22 p.m.Disturbance: Officers responded to a disturbance on the 98-block of Green Street; the incident was resolved at the scene without arrest.


Friday, April 10, 1:57 a.m.Arrest (Summons): Officers responded to an assist-other-agency call at a property on Converse Lane. A summons was issued; no further identifying information was recorded in the log.

Friday, April 10, 7:06 a.m.Unwanted Guest: Officers responded to a report of an unwanted guest at Windsor Communities; a report was filed.

Friday, April 10, 10:13 a.m.Serve Summons: A summons was served at a property on West Emerson Street; a report was filed.

Friday, April 10, 12:16 p.m.Police Information: A report was taken at a property on the 340-block of Main Street.

Friday, April 10, 1:35 p.m.Medical Emergency: A medical emergency was reported; the person was transported to the hospital.

Friday, April 10, 1:37 p.m.Arrest (Summons): A motor vehicle stop was made on the 257-block of Pleasant Street. A summons was issued; no charges or identifying information were recorded in the log.

Friday, April 10, 2:32 p.m.Larceny/Forgery/Fraud: A report was taken at a property on Keniston Road.

Friday, April 10, 5:31 p.m.Disturbance/Arrest: Officers responded to a disturbance at the intersection of Lynde Street and Summer Street. An arrest was made (Arrest Report 26-4137-AR); no charges or identifying information were recorded in the log.


Saturday, April 11, 10:52 a.m.Carbon Monoxide Alarm: Officers and emergency personnel responded to a carbon monoxide alarm at the intersection of Howard Street and Windsor Street; services were rendered.

Saturday, April 11, 11:25 a.m.Harassment: A harassment report was filed (Incident 26-4167-OF); no location was recorded in the log.

Saturday, April 11, 9:06 a.m.Medical Emergency: A medical emergency was reported; the person was transported to the hospital.

Sunday, April 12, 5:51 p.m.Medical Emergency: A medical emergency was reported; the person was transported to the hospital.

Sunday, April 12, 5:57 p.m.Medical Emergency: A medical emergency was reported; a report was filed (Incident 26-4218-OF).

Sunday, April 12, 9:25 p.m.Arrest (Summons): A motor vehicle stop was made at the intersection of Chestnut Street and East Wyoming Avenue. A summons was issued; the log records a charge of operating an unregistered motor vehicle. No name, age, or town of residence was recorded in the log.
