Medford Community Chorale marks 10th concert with benefit for youth center

Medford Community Chorale's 10th concert benefits Medford Youth Center. The chorale and its Youth and Young Adult Chorus performed "You're the Inspiration," a program the director called "a very varied program of songs about people, places and things that inspire us," with accompanist and vocal coach Dr. Holly Zidario on piano and chorus member Deacon Chuck Hall on ukulele and banjo.

Returning member Monty Hill flew in from Maryland for a solo, while former youth-group singers Olivia Sawyer and Cheyenne Payen rejoined the group for Barry Manilow's "One Voice." A 50-50 raffle raised $300, with $150 going to winners Jacob, Sophia and Ava Matthews. Proceeds from the concert program book go to the Medford Youth Center.
