Littleton Rotary sets 22nd Appleman Triathlon for July 19 at Long Lake

2026 Appleman Triathlon Promo - Basnett Plumbing, Heating, & Electrical · Meeting of July 19, 2026

Littleton Rotary previews its 22nd Appleman Triathlon, set for Sunday, July 19, at Long Lake. Rotary Club chairman Roger Hartley said the Run, Bike & Swim event, USA Triathlon-sanctioned and timed by New England Timing, remains the club's largest annual fundraiser, with roughly 450 entrants expected and all proceeds going to local charities. Every finisher gets a medal, and winners receive maple syrup instead of trophies.

Premier sponsor Jake Basnett, owner of Basnett Plumbing, Heating & Electrical, a family business in Littleton since 1987, said the company is fielding about 13 employees across five duathlon teams and will display a fully wrapped company vehicle at the beach. "Littleton's our home, and we love to be part of the community," Basnett said. The sponsorship also puts the company atop event posters and participant T-shirts.
