Littleton Posts August Newsletter With Election, Veteran Info

LITTLETON — The town released its August newsletter this week, spotlighting election information, planning department projects and veteran services updates, while Town Hall also set a trio of board meetings for Monday and opened a new survey on the format of the 2026 Annual Town Meeting.

Littleton has also opened the 2026 Annual Town Meeting Feedback Survey, inviting residents to weigh in on how the town runs its annual meeting.

The Select Board, Board of Assessors and Park and Recreation Commission will hold a joint meeting Monday, Aug. 31, at Town Hall. The Select Board convenes at 6:30 p.m., the Board of Assessors at 6:40 p.m. and the Park and Recreation Commission at 6:50 p.m., all in Room 103.

SCHOOLS Littleton Public Schools posted a notice for a Used Sneaker Drive, asking families to donate old sneakers, though additional details on collection dates and drop-off sites were not listed on the district site as of Friday.

Littleton Public Schools students in kindergarten through grade 12 return for the start of classes Tuesday, Sept. 1. Schools are closed Friday, Sept. 4, and again Monday, Sept. 7, for Labor Day. Pre-K classes begin Tuesday, Sept. 8.

Ashland's girls' soccer team visits Littleton for a nonconference match Thursday, Sept. 3, at 4:30 p.m.
